This gallery corresponds to the project entitled Reconciliation through Art, ReconciliArte, supported by the Japanese organization Niwano Peace Foundation and implemented between 2016 and 2017. The objective of the project was to contribute to the construction of peace in Colombia by recovering historical memory from those affected by the conflict, carry out pedagogy for peace and implement an exercise of forgiveness and reconciliation, using art as a tool for raising awareness.
This gallery corresponds to the project entitled Promotion of Women’s Human Rights with a Peacebuilding Approach and Prevention of Gender Violence in Nariño supported by the North American organization National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and implemented between 2016 and 2017. The objectives of the project were: to contribute to the promotion of the right of women to live a life free of violence through the enforceability of their rights and awareness of the institutions and civil society and to effectively promote greater participation and advocacy of women from Nariño to participate in the monitoring, implementation and evaluation of the public gender policy in the department of Nariño.
This gallery corresponds to the project entitled Agenda 1325: Promoting the Participation of Women as Peacebuilders and Human Rights Defenders in the Post-Conflict in Colombia, supported by the Norwegian organization the Norwegian Human Rights Fund (FNDH) and implemented between 2017 and 2018. The objective of the project was to increase the influence and leadership of women affected by the armed conflict as peacebuilders and peacekeepers in Colombia under conditions of safety.
This gallery corresponds to the project Territorial Enlistment for the Addressing of Sexual Violence in the Framework of the Armed Conflict supported by the Norwegian organization the Norwegian Fund for Human Rights (FNDH) and implemented between 2017 and 2018. The objective of the project was to contribute to strengthen organizations and / or networks of women’s organizations and human rights defenders to address sexual violence within the framework of the strategies contained in the Comprehensive Truth, Justice, Reparation and Non-Repetition System (SIVJR) part of the Final Peace Agreement, signed between the national Government and the FARC-EP in November of 2016.
